Does Quality Feature in end user priorities in the Middle East
This question has always attracted my attention and I am still looking for an answer to it.
There are more organisations now than ever before certified to ISO 9001 or achieved the Excellence awards sponsored by the top brass and top governments. How visible is the outcome of such initiatives to end users?
Without performing huge scientific analysis and marketing research on it, no one can really answer the question.
But let us ask few questions and see if we can gauge some of that perception
Do you detect better attitudes from Customer Service representatives?
Do you detect better response in answering phones or emails from organisations?
Do you get your complaints dealt with formally with written responses?
Are prices coming down as a result of more efficient systems and operations within organisations?
Have you noticed an increase in organsations surveying your opinion about their services?
